Product certification
Every fixture we sell is CE-marked or carries an equivalent international certification (CCC, UL, ETL) required for the market it was produced in. We keep the paperwork on file and can share it with installers or regulators on request.
Electrical safety
Our fixtures are rated for 110–120V / 60Hz — the Curaçao grid standard. If you’re shipping a piece off-island, check the voltage on the label before installing; we’ll help with step-down transformers or alternate wiring on request.
Energy labelling
Where a fixture is supplied with its light source, we publish the EU energy label and lumen output on the product page. Fixtures sold bulb-independent are labelled for the compatible bulb spec.
Materials & sourcing
We work with manufacturers who can tell us where their materials come from. For wood, we prefer FSC-certified suppliers; for metals and glass, we prioritise European and Japanese foundries with published environmental standards.
Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA on usehitech.com. If you hit an accessibility barrier — on the site or at our warehouse — let us know and we’ll address it.
Consumer rights
Nothing in our terms limits your statutory consumer rights under Curaçao law. If there’s a conflict, the law wins.
Responsible disclosure
Found a security issue with the site? Mail hello@usehitech.com with the subject “security” and please don’t disclose publicly until we’ve had a chance to fix it.
